Our Story
It all started with three golden retrievers Dash, Bella, and Abaco whom we loved more than anything! Loyal, playful, and always by our side — but behind their wagging tails, we noticed something troubling. Despite giving them “premium” kibble from the pet store, they were sluggish, gaining weight, and developing early signs of health issues tied to poor nutrition. We tried other "healthy", "fresh" options, but nothing changed.
We couldn’t ignore it. So we asked the question most dog owners never think to ask: What’s really in our dog’s food?
What we found shocked us.
The dog food industry was riddled with vague labels, fillers, and marketing spin. “Premium” didn’t mean healthy. “Natural” didn’t mean nutritious. And behind the scenes, an alarming number of dogs — just like our golden retrievers — were becoming overweight or even obese because of it.
We knew there had to be a better way.
From Heartbreak to Action
Fueled by a mission to give our own dogs the lives they deserved, we set out on a journey to study canine nutrition with veterinarians and food scientists. Our goal was simple but ambitious: create a healthy, human-grade dog food that dog owners everywhere could trust.
The result was a product designed around radical transparency — recipes made with real, recognizable ingredients, clearly labeled, and portioned for optimal health. Food you’d be proud to serve at your own table, now crafted for your dog’s bowl.
Beyond Dogs: Feeding Families Too
But our story didn’t end there. We realized something bigger: if we could create food that gave dogs a healthier, happier life, why not also extend that same care to people in need?
That’s why we built a give-back model into our mission. For every dog we feed, we also provide meals to a family of three for a full month. Because feeding well shouldn’t just be a privilege — it should be a right, for pets and people alike.
